Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose of this Policy
The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is to define the rules of conduct governing your interactions with Zocane. This policy protects our users, our team, our technical infrastructure, and our brand reputation from malicious, fraudulent, or abusive behaviors.
2. Prohibited Conduct and Activities
A. Abuse of the Address-Free Gifting Graph
Our privacy-first social graph is built to allow seamless surprises without exposing recipients' delivery addresses.
- No Harassment: You are strictly prohibited from using Zocane to repeatedly send unwanted physical gifts, spam, or abusive materials to any contact number.
- No Stalking: You may not use the Platform to systematically harvest, test, or reverse-engineer recipient contact mappings or attempt to uncover a user's hidden delivery address coordinates.
B. Fraud and Financial Abuse
- SMS Pumping & OTP Abuse: You must not deploy automated bots, script libraries, or scraping tools to trigger high-volume SMS OTP messages on our authentication routes (SMS pumping).
- Payment Scams: You may not use stolen credit/debit cards, utilize fraudulent UPI details, or engage in collusion within multiplayer Cart Rooms to artificially initiate checkouts.
C. Platform and System Interruption
- API Abuse: You must not bypass the official client-side interface to call our backend API endpoints, Firebase instance structures, or Cloud Functions directly.
- Reverse Engineering: You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or attempt to exploit our proprietary mathematical 3D volumetric packaging calculation engine or any on-device local state managers.
- Infrastructure Attacks: You may not attempt to initiate Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, introduce malware, or disrupt the real-time websocket synchronization powering our live Cart Room chats.
3. Platform Monitoring & Enforcement
Zocane utilizes real-time monitoring tools to catch anomalies, excessive API rate triggers, and suspicious group cart funding patterns.
- Account Suspensions: We reserve the absolute right to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate accounts found to be violating this AUP.
- IP Blocks: Users initiating bot traffic or SMS pumping attacks will have their IP addresses blocked across our networks.
- Legal Action: We will report financial fraud, identity theft, and coordinate with law enforcement authorities in Mumbai regarding malicious cyber-attacks against our technical systems.
